Os indicados para o The Game Awards 2020 foram anunciados, selecionados por um júri global de mais de 95 veículos de mídia e influenciadores.
Este ano, a Sony Interactive Entertainment é a editora mais indicada, com 22 indicações no total. Esta é a segunda maior contagem de indicações para editoras na história do The Game Awards, depois das 23 indicações da Nintendo para o The Game Awards 2017.
