A Funimation e a Crunchyroll anunciaram em 1º de março que a biblioteca de anime da Funimation e Wakanim e o conteúdo de transmissão simultânea foram movidos para a Crunchyroll. O Funimation Global Group da Sony concluiu a aquisição da Crunchyroll da AT&T em 9 de agosto do ano passado. O preço de compra foi de US$ 1,175 bilhão, e os recursos foram pagos em dinheiro no fechamento.
